Through an interactive workshop, we will discuss cultural differences and how they affect body language, email etiquette, negotiation styles, and more. We will also explore eight countries in more detail and the top cultural tips to know when working with people from these countries. Cultural competency not only drives your bottom-line results but is key to understanding the differences that make a difference. This is an essential topic in a world that is becoming increasingly attuned to the importance of inclusion and diversity.

  • The registration payment must be received in full before a registrant gains access to the conference.

Registration Details:

  • Your registration includes access to the in-person annual conference, including sessions, access to available speaker presentations and papers, a comprehensive attendee list, and an interactive networking/discussion experience.
  • First-time non-member attendees will receive a complimentary year of membership..
  • Registration receipts will be sent immediately via email. If you do not receive your confirmation within 24 hours, please email admin@ses-standards.org. 
  • All registrations are subject to review and SES reserves the right to change registration fees based on current membership status. If you are unsure of your current membership status, please contact us at admin@ses-standards.org.

SES Cancellation and Refund Policy:

  • Cancellations made in writing to admin@ses-standards.org on or before July 18, will be refunded minus a $125 cancellation fee.
  • No refunds will be available for cancellations made on or after July 19
  • Registrants assume full responsibility for notification to and verification of receipt by SES. Please email cancellation notice to admin@ses-standards.org. Phone cancellations will not be accepted.

  • Substitutions:
    • If you are unable to attend, you may substitute with another person from your company or organization. All substitution requests should be sent to admin@ses-standards.org by July 29, 2022 at 11:59 PM PT.

Additional Policies:

  • Special Needs: If you did not include your ADA or special needs in the registration process, please email admin@ses-standards.org by July 11, 2022. SES will work to accommodate requests; however, we cannot guarantee special requests can be accommodated after July 11, 2022.
  • Photography/Privacy: By attending the SES 71st Annual Conference, you acknowledge that photographs, screenshots, and/or videos of you may be taken by our conference staff and/or photographers at any time, even in the space. Furthermore, you grant SES permission to use photographs and/or videos of your likeness in any type of media, including websites and print publications, without compensation or reward.
