SES offers a range of volunteer opportunities to fit your interests and availability. Committee Members: Commit approximately two hours a month to support committee activities, such as:

• Credentialing and certification for standards professionals (year-round)
  • Requirements development
  • Certification application review
  • Revision of SES Guide to Standards
• Membership engagement events (year-round)

  • Webinars and education
  • Annual Awards program
  • Student Scholarship program
  • Social media, newsletters and blogs
• Annual Conference Committee (September - June)

Micro-Volunteering: For those with limited time, micro-volunteering activities are brief and focused:

• Author articles for the SES blog, and assist with marketing pieces
• Engage in short-term task forces, such as the World Standards Day Paper Review, etc.
• Share your testimonial as a member 
• Contribute to social media outreach
• Offer your expertise as a subject matter expert
• Volunteer at SES events
