Claudia Bach of IFAN, International Federation of Standards Users covers the organizations who participate in IFAN, the relationships that IFAN has with other International and regional Standards Bodies, the unique role that IFAN has as the international voice of standards users, and the activities of the federation. We’ll discuss the strengths and weaknesses of IFAN, plus look at the direction the organization is currently taking. Opportunities for involvement and a discussion of the real benefits for SES company members (actual standards users) will be reviewed.
