The 2020 Conference theme is

“The Value of Standardization and the Standards Professional”

Keynote Speaker

The SES is excited to announce that Jim Pauley, President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) will be the 69th Annual SES Conference Keynote Speaker.

Jim Pauley, President and CEO, NFPA

NFPA is a global, non-profit organization devoted to eliminating death, injury, property and economic loss due to fire, electrical and related hazards. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of the NFPA Research Foundation. Prior to joining NFPA, Mr. Pauley concluded a 30-year career in the electrical and energy industry where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, External Affairs and Government Relations for Schneider Electric. Mr. Pauley has served in a number of past leadership positions including Chairman of the Board for the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and currently serves as a Director for the Center for Public Safety Excellence. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and was a licensed professional engineer in Kentucky.

Conference Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests and changes must be received in writing. A 20% cancellation fee will be charged to registrants who cancel after July 11, 2020. No refunds will be provided to registrants who cancel after July 11, 2020 however, you may send a substitute. If the conference or course(s), or both, are cancelled for any reason, SES’ responsibility is limited to the return of the fees paid by the registrant.
