Monday, August 6th (Fundamentals of Standards and Conformity Assessment)

In addition to the SES course, NIST will be holding a separate workshop on conformity assessment best practices for Canada, Mexico and the U.S. Participants in this workshop should be prepared to share their experiences with conformity assessment. This workshop is sponsored by NIST and separate registration is required from the SES Conference and courses. Click here for the details and registration.

 

Thursday, August 9th will be a free workshop Workforce Development and the Standardization Professional

The course is an excellent way to earn credits for your AStd or CStd certification.

Registration fee includes:

  • Welcome reception held in the hotel - free to all attendees;
  • Keynote address by Kathie Morgan President of ASTM International:
  • Eight sessions covering the spectrum of private industry, government agencies, and standard developing organizations (SDOs) among U.S., Canadian, and international interests. Expert panels will cover a number of topics;
  • Closing keynote speaker;
  • Breakfast, lunch, and morning and afternoon refreshment breaks are included on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tuesday Dinner and Grand Old Opry - We are having a buffet dinner at the hotel and then board buses for a short ride to the Grand Old Opry. The cost is $95 and includes your ticket to the show.

Conference Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests and changes must be received in writing. A 20% cancellation fee will be charged to registrants who cancel after July 19, 2018. No refunds will be provided to registrants who cancel after July 31, 2018 however, you may send a substitute. If the conference or course(s), or both, are cancelled, SES’ responsibility is limited to the return of the fees paid by the registrant.

IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION

Non-US citizens attending the Annual SES Conference in Nashville need to have a valid passport that is valid 6 months beyond the dates of your trip.
