About the Speaker:
Timothy Duffy is a Senior Manager of Conformity Assessment with Rockwell Automation with over 25 years of experience in the field of product safety, standards and conformity assessment.  In his current position he is responsible for tracking and coordinating the global conformity assessment positions and initiatives within Rockwell Automation.

Mr. Duffy is currently the vice-President Conformity Assessment for the United States National Committee of the IEC and Chair of the Conformity Assessment Policy Coordinating Committee.  Mr.  Duffy also serves as the US representative to the IEC Conformity Assessment Board (CAB) and serves on multiple working groups under the IEC CAB. In addition, Tim chairs the USNC-IECEE, serves as the principal US representative to the IECEE - Worldwide System for Conformity Testing and Certification of Electrotechnical Equipment and Components (IECEE) and serves as an officer on the IECEx System for Certification to Standards relating to Equipment for use in Explosive Atmospheres.

Mr. Duffy also represents Rockwell Automation on various committees relating to Conformity Assessment within ANSI and NEMA and has worked with other industry standards representatives on issues ranging from Global Conformity Assessment and Market Access concerns to standards revisions and various information technology initiatives.
