The National Capital Area Section provides DC Metro Area Standards professionals with the opportunity to network and stay connected throughout the year. The Section typically holds 3 events annually, one each in the spring, the summer, and the fall. The spring/summer events routinely consist of a featured speaker presentation and a networking reception. The fall event, a networking reception, is typically held during World Standards Week. Standards professionals from SDOs, Industry, and Government are encouraged to attend the Section meetings.
