Announcement
The Executive Committee of the SES Board of Directors (BoD) has convened a Search Committee to receive applications for the position of Executive Director. The Executive Director is primarily responsible for managing the Society’s finances, conducting day-to-day business, managing the Annual Conference, providing staff support to fulfill actions and directives of the BOD, and assisting the BOD in developing policies and strategies to achieve the mission, vision, and goals of the Society. Applications are due by Friday, February 3, 2012 to sessecretary@att.net. SES Nominations
The terms of office for SES Marketing Council, Publications Council, and Technical Council Directors expire in 2012 and nominations are being sought to fill these offices.  Nominations, and the election of each eligible office, shall be in compliance with the SES Bylaws, Article B5: Nominations and Elections.  Nominations may be made by petition to the Nominations Committee Chair, signed or affirmed by at least fifteen (15) current members.  Nomination petitions or self-nominations must be e-mailed by February 17, 2012 to: sessecretary@att.net.

2011 Virtual Conference Replay
SES is pleased to offer the replay of its 60th Annual Conference, recorded at the Encore at Wynn Las Vegas in August 2011. The replay will include the Keynote Address and seven relevant sessions focused on issues critical to private industry, government agencies, and standards developing organizations. In addition to providing access for attendees to the virtual conference, non-attendees can purchase conference access as well.

Keynote Presentation Available
The 60th Annual SES Conference was held at the Encore at Wynn in Las Vegas, Nevada from August 14 through August 18, 2011. We had a record number of attendees including our Keynote Speaker, James A. Thomas, President of ASTM International. The Conference theme was "The Evolving World of Standards: What's on the Horizon?"
